Picked this up yesterday its graded MS62 but I think I will be removing it from its tomb and put it on display with some of my others?


Give the laziest man the toughest job and he will find the easiest way to get it done.

Do you have an album, if you do and have quite a few then I would crack it out.
If you don't I would not crack it out.
btw.....that Eagle is one of my favorites.

The central weakness on the reverse is typical and in NGC grading MS62 tends to be a pretty AU58, but yours is a solid unc!

There are zillions of unslabbed HTTs out there full brown and enjoyable to handle.

Not really zillions as there are actually production records for a good amount of them.
If you look at US mintages of Large Cents from 1837-1842 they run 1.5 to 6.5 million.
A typical commonly found R-1 rated HTT variety of the same era only had a private production on average of about 35,000.
