By the way, is the "K" backwards on his jersey or is it an illusion? Maybe the Wild are owned by Toys "R" Us?
Really?
Am I the one who has to say it??
You need help buddy.
PS.
I think that guy has a series on showtime or something.
<< <i>So in case I don't win the free trip to spring training, does anyone have a time machine they can sell or lease that will take me to Fort Lauderdale circa March 1988? >>
If I had one, I can think of a lot of other things to do then going to Fort Lauderdale for a spring training trip. I would have one hell of a unopened pack collection and would be able to guarantee they were unsearched.

IF IT HAD TO BE A CARD RELATED TIME MACHINE JOURNEY, THIS ONE WOULD BE NICE. I believe we figured the value to be around TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Not as much as this, guy, Clutterbuck's teammate! I'm sending this one for grading too!
<< <i>Canseco Rack!!! NIIIIIIICE! >>
Too bad, already ripped open!
The 86 Topps wax is the best.... cards are in nice shape, good centering, gum is not sticking..... got some nice hits so far... gradable Mattingly, Puckett, Henderson, Ripken, and a gradable 86 OPC Ripken. These are all 9s and 10s. Still waiting for a Schmidt.
I have a stack of Mets cards for EchoCanyon too.
No Glavine yet, but I did get the Al Leiter Future Star error.
87 Topps is ok... not as much fun as I'd anticipated... got a #500 Mattingly that's gradable. Some of the packs seem loose but I think they're ok. Some of the 88 Topps packs are loose and they seem to have no good cards, but others are sealed tightly and I got a bunch of stars in those.
<< <i>deer mr. crazy mind: guud luck wit your preshus packs and boxes. >>

PM me your address and I'll send these off in the next couple weeks. I'm probably going to order another box of 86 OPC so I'll hold these for a little while just to see if I get some more.
It's amazing what people will search and reseal. I bought a box of MASH cards and every single pack was resealed!
<< <i>Nobody has an opinion on this? I just opened another pack and it had 4 consecutive Braves players in a row (in a pack of 7 cards). The wrappers are really loose around the cards and the glue is not holding the wrappers sealed tightly. I barely have to run my finger under the wrapper to open it. >>
I'm not 100% certain where this particular box is from, but almost all the OPC Baseball product we have in stock is from a large OPC baseball deal Steve bought in January from a collector/dealer in Alabama. He bought multiple boxes of each from most of the 70s and early 80s, and from the mid to late 80s, he bought cases of each.

OPC was never one for quality control - from the way they cut the cards to sealing the packs. It always seems that packs with fewer cards (less than 10) don't have nice looking corner folds the way 15+ card packs do, and because of it, the wrappers tend to be a little loose and look a little sloppy. As for four consecutive Braves players in a row, that's probably coincidence. As a Braves fan, it would be a pleasant surprise to me, but it's just a matter of how the collation goes.

<< <i>I seriously doubt anyone would search 1988 OPC baseball, either in 1988 or 2011. >>
1988 OPC DeShields.
<< <i>Actually, resealing '88 OPC isn't so far fetched when you consider the Delino DeShields card. He was a relatively hot rookie card in the day and his '88 OPC preceded his Donruss, Leaf, Fleer, etc RC by two years. There were also early Derek Bell and Alex Sanchez rookies in '88 OPC.
1988 OPC DeShields. >>
This puts everything in new perspective... I've opened 26 of the 36 packs so far (was saving some in case BBCE asked me to return them) and I got one each of Bell and DeShields, both NM-MT, so these packs are likely not resealed as I originally suspected they were.
Then again, the damaged Dunston, Pasqua, Sandberg, and Juan Samuel cards from the middle of their respective packs say otherwise, but who knows... it's not like there's a lot of money on the line.
<< <i>OK, so what are the brown marks on the back then? >>
Are there brown spots on the top of the packs and/or gum too? If so that is probably the culprit.
Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972
And again, every time I have seen those markings only on the back, those packs have creased cards in the middle, miscut cards, etc., etc.
Is there a pack expert out there who can share what those brown markings that only show up on the back of wax packs are? Until then I still stand by my theory that it has something to do with heat from resealing.

<< <i>this is a hell of a lot of keystrokes for a $7 box lol >>

I have an opinion but you probably don't want to hear it.
<< <i>I have an opinion but you probably don't want to hear it. >>
And why is that?
<< <i>OK, so what are the brown marks on the back then? >>
Those brownish marks look like they could be from some of the red ink rubbing off over time from the top of the packs below them in the box. Especially if they were stored in the Alabama heat - where these packs were purchased from.
I forget...
