Mike - do you slab any of them or just keep em as is? I'll admit, I too am finding them more attractive unopened and I'm slowly building my own empire of sealed cards. Do you try to put together cello or wax boxes?
I should start slabbing some of the star packs I have, but right now I've been accumulating packs for cello and rack boxes. I actually bought a 1977 cello box which was 4 packs short so these packs will complete that box. I'm also getting another 2 1977 cello packs on the current group rip to replace a couple of cellos that are not in perfect condition. I am also currently working on completing my second 1975 and third 1978 cello boxes which is getting harder and harder to do with the way prices have been going up on unopened packs. I guess we've had too many group rips.
The only wax box I've been putting together is a 1977 box from the various group rips we've had on here. All the other wax boxes I have were bought complete.

<< <i>Brett, Seaver, and Yount! Nice packs. He must like you or something. >>
I think it was just the luck of the draw. The 1977 Topps cello complete box I bought from Steve had some packs with stars and others with common players cut OC. When I got the last group of 12 1977 wax packs, I had only commons showing through, but the time before that I got a 1977 wax pack with Munson showing. Believe me, I'm not complaining.
Edits in bold.
