Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Should we also try to add a 79 cello box? Steve has one on his site.

<< <i>Man, I never get in on one of these. Would you consider doing a group rip where the max is 3 pack per member or something? And then if it's not sold out in 24-48 hours, allow members to buy more?
Just a thought. Good luck, guys! >>
that is actually a good idea. i didnt even see this thread lol

I don't want to be a hog.
So there are 3 Cello's available.

I missed out on the last 77 rip also, and since it's the main set I am collecting I really would appreciate getting in on this. Thanks again!
Scmavl you have one.
Should be all set, sorry just trying to share.
I also just paid, and picked up 10 77 Topps Wax Packs as well. Love 77's!

I am hoping for one of the two packs to look extra nice because I am thinking of having one slabbed. I have a beautiful pack graded from GAI, so I am thinking I would like a slabbed cello to go with it. We shall see if I have the willpower to not open one of them!

<< <i>Nendee I'll purchase gemmint's packs if you need me to. >>
Grote, since you already have two packs, how 'bout letting me squeeze in?

So did our packs ship or not? What's this holding up thing. They've never done that before unless it was huge money??

Sorry, man, I'm not that kind of guy...LOL..
I'll take 2 of the 4, then, if necessary, and if Echo and 1980s collector both want a pack...no problem, just want to expedite shipment of the box.
I can send payment any time, just say the word!

Sorry to everyone for the delay. I've been really busy the past few days but I did pay tonight. Thanks.
I kept one of the two packs unopened, as I would like to send it in to be slabbed, so I only opened one of them.
Got a Sutter rookie. I have six of them now, still no 9.
Great pull Sethro, even if you do have a bunch. I agree that it doesn't look like a 9 though.
How were the other cards from the pack you opened?

Nothing wrong with that.
Did you get anybody of note showing on any of the cello packs?

Maybe Steve sent the star packs to me.
I'm hoping I get them on Monday, the suspense is killing me.

<< <i>The other cards in the pack looked OK. The corners and edges (except the bottom of that Sutter) were OK, considering it was a tightly wrapped cello pack. The centering was all over the place. Top to bottom, left to right, right to left. >>
Doesn't it always seem like the star card is the one that always ends up with an issue? Sounds like the packs will graded out well though.
<< <i>I got Boog Powell showing, upside down. Does that count? >>
I would think an Oriole fan would like that.

<< <i>As promised, here are scans of the 4 1977 Topps cello packs I received from BBCE. And for the record, they will not be opened...at least not until my demise.
Bring 'em with ya to Wild Wings on the 26th and we'll RIP EM!!!! LOL
