The implication some have is that it's trimmed and I don't see it. Also I see some print dots that are missing from both scans. Who really knows.

I see the alts are out in force.

    Good for you.
  • So did anyone find out from Rick if this was a PSA 8 that was cracked and then found it's way into a PSA 10 holder ?

I find it hard to believe that an 8 could become a 10 without some type of either big screw up by PSA, or a slice job by the resubmitter.
In my lifetime I have never seen an 8 that I thought would ever have a chance at a 10. Then again, maybe this was just that once
in a million shots that hit the bullseye.

I really don't have any problem if it is the same card. And Rick isn't obligated to tell us if it is. Someone paid $4k for a PSA 10 card and that's what they got, it says so right there on the flip.

As for PSAs grading, I'm rarely surprised anymore. About anything.
2.5 is pretty much my speed.

Anything else with this card? I have been directed by a few to the left edge. Disturbing?

Going from an 8 to a 10 is crazy. Not as crazy as two BGS 8.5s going to PSA 10s though, and turning $600 into $7000.

What were the BGS 8.5's and who was selling them?

    WOW

WOW this is a big boy set. $5,500 for a common in a PSA 9. Pretty amazing.
