Dear PCGS,
When you slab a coin genuine please indicate Proof or Business strike.
And dont tell me that you do, because mostly you do not.
Thank you!

It most certainly does.
also, if you go for that level of detail, you may as well go all out and ask for details grading, too.

I really wish that PCGS had gone that route. Just like the old slabs that spelled out what the problem was and what they thought is should be netted at.
But it might be too late to get that horse back in the barn.
What's wrong with:
Genuine Proof Strike
or
Genuine Business Strike
A lot of folks do not have access to the PCGS numbers and when selling it would certainly
remove any questions.

...in a very non-obvious way for someone looking at the coin and slab itself.

If you have a Proof coin in a Genuine holder and the insert does not say Proof you can have it corrected by sending the coin in as a "Mechanical Error".
We will fix it free of charge.
Of course you could have found that out by calling Customer Service.
And I am telling you that we do, because we do.
to keep my post coin related I'll tell you that my goal is to add 4 MS64 or 65 Buffalos from the teen years to my collection yet this year....
was I successful in changing the subject?

However, in the defense of the OP, I was unaware that this was not always the case with Genuine
holders, so this is an education issue for some of us. Glad to see that it is resolved.
