Oh joyous week! After 6 months of repairs by me, 2 weeks at 1 shop, 2 weeks and 3 failed attempts of me picking it up from the dealer, this is finally back and running.
Dealer burned through 2 alternators, 2 pcm's, and 4 ignition coils before finding the right combo. I paid for 1 alternator and ignition coil with them (bought 1 coil and pcm already with my fixits) after pointing out that the 3 half days of me and 3 other people's wasted time attempting pick ups while they were figuring it out was expensive and embarrasing to them. Jeep corporate thought so too when I filed a complaint. It's not like it's a willy's, they made this same one until 2007.
Heat be damned here in Atlanta, I will be driving this ALL weekend. You'd be surprised how therapeutic driving with a foot propped up on the door jam there is.
New acquisitions from last week, and my first new silver in a while. Libertads were BINed off eBay for a good price and the Kennedy 40%ers were from 8 rolls picked up from a small town bank. Not much, but fun to have.

That's a Russian gold Ballerina. 1/10 oz of gold 14K. It has a diameter of 21mm. The JM is cool, with Miss Liberty on the other side. The Degussa is an amazing piece of gold, I wish I could buy a bigger one!
