UHR Toning Question

Recently purchased a 2009 UHR that appears to have toning from certain angles, see picture below. Knowing that this coin in 24k pure gold is this normal? Anyone else seen a coin like this? I have another UHR that does not look like this.

Thanks.

Have you tried washing it with acetone? Could be finger oil from whoever put your coin into the capsule.

That type of toning, while not desireable, is not unusual. 24K Gold Buffs are often seen with this issue. PerryHall's finger oil comment is possible too if it has been removed from the capsule. It should not have been touched by bare hands at the mint.

Appears to be a contaminant (as stated above) ... acetone might remove it... certainly not tarnish. Cheers, RickO

Great angle shot really shows off the high relief.. Just saying.. Looks like finger oil to me but no prints?
