NY Jets Signature?

Hello all ... I'm new to the boards and was wondering if someone could help me.

My brother came home with a signed NY Jets mini helmet that he picked up at a yard sale for $10.

Only one problem ... I have no clue who's signature it is.

Anyone able to help?

Thanks in advance,
Frank

Hi, hello, how are ya? image

Don't recognize it myself. Perhaps someone fluent in Scribble will be along to help.

    Hello Frank,

Welcome to the boards. I'm a Jets fan, but don't collect signature so I unfortunately can't help you. I'm sure someone here has a diploma in chicken scratch signature and let you know.

What do you like to collect? Always great to have new members on the board.

    Take care.

    Collecting:
Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.
  • I'm a big Jets and Mets fan ... and friends & family are always on the lookout for additions to my collection.

About 5 years ago, through card shows and ebay, I was able to complete some old sets, I had from when I was a kid.

I think that was the hook (nothing like that feeling of getting that last card to complete a set). I've been collecting ever since.

Well I feel your pain as I too am a Mets fan. I found some scans I think you may appreciate.

Nothing like catching the collecting bug again. Good luck with your collection.

  • Very cool pics Mike ... thanks for posting them!

I actually may have figured out my mystery signature ... Laveranues Coles #7.

I'm fairly confident ... the X ... the / ... the C and L in script ... and the #07 are all pretty common in his most recent signatures.

    Anyone agree or disagree?

Frank, I think you may have it. That a look at the link below.

The only thing I didn't see was one with his number at the end, but he may not do that for cards.
