Not me. I spent my coin budget, and will wait until fall to make new purchases.
I bought ca. 50 books and catalogs for my numismatic library this year, so reading these will keep me out of trouble.image

Very nice - my library only grew by 3-4 books, but I hope to pick up some more soon. image

On this particular auction? 2 tracked lots, no bids. I'm not really one to overpay for coins, so if I had to guess, I probably won't win anything today.

I am an aggressive bidder for coins that have the characteristics that I am seeking.

There are limits to this type of bidding, but a slight over bidding today, may yield

many times in value in the future.

I've learned I really have to see it before I can bid on it. I've tried the on-line, not seen it route but it has not worked for me.

I did bid in the Central States auction they held, and bid more than what the coin sold for the last time around. Since then the coin had been crossed to PCGS and got a "green bean." My bid, which was higher than the winner last time, was now well out of the money.

I could not find a single coin on which I wanted to bid. Bid on one coin with Bowers, ended up underbidder.

I have two bids in - and am high bidder on both - one of which is
for an old coin of mine that I sold to RLD14 who has consigned his
    coins to auction.

I only sold him that coin to complete his set - even though I didn't
want to see it go. I should have mentioned I would take it back should
he ever decide to sell it - but didn't. Oh well. My bid is higher than what
I sold it for and if you add the 15% fees - I'm still doing okay.

If and when I actually win something, you know where to find the pictures of the coins.

They will join the rest of the pictures of the Estate Collection for your viewing pleasure.

My home closes escrow on Thursday and so, the hungry bear is prowling in some tall grass.image

Of course, the coins I picked up from David Lawrence, are no slouchers either. They will be posted

the same time as the above, if any, coins.

Are all of the Heritage Summer FUN auction items listed or will they be adding more? It looks like FUN will be HALF the size of this auction. Nothing excites me for Summer FUN right now.

0 for 1, and I felt I had gone as high as I could.

Someone wanted the 1859-S AU50 Seated Half more than I did.
