Is about $20 somthing or about 75 cents in 90%,
thats about right for my Corona's or Becks if there
on sale, but thats about $1.50 In 90% for my
Stella Artois's which rarley are on sale. Well at least
here in the San Fernando Valley.

My bet is....no...they want your fiat currency instead.

Ya, I'm willing to give up a couple of pieces of silver
for some good beer, but pruno is giving up a little more
than I'm willing to pay

Curse the Dollar all you want, but as long as we're being forced to use it to buy really just about anything, the song remains the same.
Now if you run into someone like me and need some work done on the house/car or something like that, I would gladly negotiate it for your 90%.
I may be too realistic, but I aint stoopid.
Sure, the beer clerks and managers need the frn's to balance inventory at the end of the week but...did you know that the beer delivery guys will gift a certain number of cases of the beer they are distributing? They give them to the manager, each time they make a delivery. This keeps the beer cases that hold their product in a prominent location and it lets them put those little promo signs around, it keeps the wheels of industry humming so to speak. Those gifted cases are not in inventory...they can be, but they don't have to be. There is nothing to keep the manager from laying off a few of those gifted cases for some ASE's.
Thinking that frn's are the only way to make the world go round is not a correct position.

over there in good ol Van Nuys, the AB employees get multiple cases annually, for being there!!!
and for another '$0.35' i could go across the street for a double chili-chese burger, chili-fries and a drink
i see Stella @ costco... sometimes
<< <i>ah another pipe dream thought of. I give you credit for dreaming/hoping for something like that, but here in the real world, cash is still king...at least until "end times".

Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

This is what it was about 10-12 years ago. I guess inflation didn't hit the beer makers, just the beer buyers.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

Ah, Tommys Burgers, 35 cents in silver easily would get ya the dbl chili-cheese,
chili frys and a drink plus all the chili peppers you could stand and change back.
Now I want one
Steve
Well worth the premium.
