MS66 NO Full Torch,,,,, looks to me like the lower bands are touching on the RH side. Alot of scuff on the face to go higher than MS66. Hard to tell from the photo?
I like buying the 1996 Mint Sets whenever I see them at or below bid Not easy to do though as most dealers around here charge a premium for the set. Or maybe it just seems that way since I cleaned out all of those who weren't selling at a premium
I don't know about NGC but PCGS doesn't show a 69 FB in a 96-W Roosevelt. They show 130 in MS-68 FB and the price guide lists it at $275. They list a price of $350 for the 96-W in MS-69 no FB but I didn't try to find the population on the MS-69.
I do know his dime is awful purdy.

I'm sure it's purdy, but to get 69 the thing needs to be next to perfect... i guessed 66 because there appears to be some marks and/or small spotting on Roosevelt's neck... perhaps all of that is just a camera trick or that it's all on the plastic of the holder??? In any event, awesome score and congrats!
I have always thought these were cool coins and ended up with a PCGS 67 as a price compermise but after looking for a while I do know these are one of the coins bring way less in NGC holders due to them costing less than a burger without plastic. A none FB 67 in PCGS cost me 40 while a 67 in NGC was as low a $16.95.
Nice score... I have a couple of those.. not slabbed. Just holding them, however, will take another look now. If they are that scarce in high grades, I may have a mini-treasure lurking in my safe. Cheers, RickO
