    << <i>The top 4 guesses:
    #4 - $10,110.17 - $190.83 Edgar
    #3 - $10,400.00 +$99.00 Radioman
    #2 - $10,217.72 -$83.28 TonedDollars
    #1 - $10,276.51 -24.49 Rollsearcher* >>

The way I see it is Toneddollars wasted his guess on page 13 with this post
"$11750.00 Jtryka from across the street" so his guess of $10,217.72 shouldn't count >>

Well first off congrats to the winner of the contest, congrats to the winner of the auction. And it sounds like you need to go to your room and pout. What a poor sport! Why should someone's guess not count because they are on another PUBLIC forum?? Get a life!!!

Thank you for your prompt and timely opinion!!! The gravity of someone such as your self weighing in has settled the matter in my mind. There are a few others things if you would be so kind as to offer guidance on

Who to vote for on season 1 of American Idol?
When is the best time to buy a Beta Max recorder instead of that faddish VHS?
What % of my nest egg should be in Enron stock???

    << <i>Someone estimated a value of $1000. >>

That'd be about right, give or take.

We thought hard about bidding the 1864, but honestly it fits in better with a GSA enthusiast then with a set of mostly high grade seated dollars... CONGRATS to the winners! (both of the auction and the giveaway image )
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

<< <i>I got my prize yesterday! After about an hour of trying to figure out whether to crack the seal or not, I opened it and found a beautiful 1882-CC! As a bonus, gsaguy even included an original gsa mailing box (and he managed to find one that was addressed to a town less than 15 minutes from my house!) >>

Aaaacccckkkkk!!!!!! Another unopened GSA box bites the dust!
