What a great giveaway - and an even cooler coin! Thanks for the chance and good luck on the auction! -------------------------------------------------------------
Well since BXBOY had a giuess UNDER 10,103 - those that went over technically are out of the mix- that is the norm.
GUESS Closest to final is the WINNER.- But then again it is up tpo Bryan to name the winner- definitely not me.- I'm just the bearer of how the numbers went down..

Check again. From the very first post by our contest host..."closest one (over or under, no matter) "
Wow - I meant to check this last night, but after a long drive in bad weather and traffic, I didn't even log on when I got home. Congrats to gsaguy for a nice sale - and congrats to me for winning the contest! Makes up for a weekend with the in-laws!
The way I see it is Toneddollars wasted his guess on page 13 with this post "$11750.00 Jtryka from across the street" so his guess of $10,217.72 shouldn't count

Looks like you guys got this one figured out for me. Thanks!!! I didn't really want to go through all 300 posts trying to figure out who'd won.
Send me your addy via PM and I'll try to ship your prize today. If you decide to open it, let us know what you find.
Thanks all for participating. If TPTB allow another give-away, I've got another cool GSA coin in mind. I do want to thank them too for the chance to post the give-away here. I know some members learned some new stuff about the GSA sale and I think everyone enjoyed the contest.

I got my prize yesterday! After about an hour of trying to figure out whether to crack the seal or not, I opened it and found a beautiful 1882-CC! As a bonus, gsaguy even included an original gsa mailing box (and he managed to find one that was addressed to a town less than 15 minutes from my house!)
there's a fair amount of chatter/bagmarks on the higher portions of the design, especially on the Obverse, but great luster and a very nice strike. THANK YOU so much Bryan! It's a great prize and I am thrilled with it!
