[This auction was setting at $1040 in the last minute, I was thinking $52 a coin is crazy. Then low and behold this thing ripped to $1115 to close, stupid money that's almost $56 an ASE........Maybe j6p is starting to show.

I don't get it. High feedback bidders with little regard for current pricing. What's up?

Must be the free s&h?image BTW, that auction is not an exception...look at the bids on the rest of his 2011 ASE rolls. The bubble will burst with a vengeance.

Alas my friends this seems to be the new reality.Check out the well known internet metals dealers. Most of them are charging about $50 an ounce for silver.some are a few dollars more.I used to buy alot of silver on e bay but I have stepped back due to these prices.

But if silver continues to climb $50 may be a cheap price in the future. No one knows for sure.I would like to add to my stack but Im just not sure if its worth it.I will continue to add to my stockpile at a much slower pace.
  • Wow! Want to bet that APMEX has a few buyers on these PCGS certified ASE rolls?

Bullion silver eagles are going for around $53-$54, including shipping. Interestingly, "W" burnished silver eagles in 69 or raw are going for about the same price, so if you're buying silver eagles at these levels, you might as well get yourself a mintmarked one.

I don't remember that, but I have a terrible memory....I just remember all of the whistling!

Madness for sure. I've been trying to use up my ebay bucks on 90% silver on ebay but the deals just haven't been there. I really haven't looked that hard though.
