Loss Leader Silver deals

Just curious if anyone else around here has been taking advantage of any of the recent loss-leader promo deals for SAE's and the like lately?

I've been finding some great one-off deals for $30-34/oz for Silver Eagles and Canadian counterparts. If only they would sell in bulk image

Is anyone aware of any new deals going on?

Last one I did was International Coin and Currency -They're selling 2 silver dollars for $55 shipped - I'm pretty happy with that one. Looks like they're backordered but still taking orders.

Through the website, the 'dept code' is: N5162 and item #44309. Quite a deal right now!

Seems like the Texas Bullion Four are winding down on a monthlong promo campaign for 2011 SAE's and the Canadian Wildlife one ouncers. I'm a sucker for bullion at $10 below spot image

I'm sure they got your phone# and or email address along with your mailing address. Expect to receive phone calls, emails & coins or bullion for "your review." One of the oldest marketing ploys around.

BTW, since you've done business with them, they are not subject to the "do not call restrictions."

None of these companies work like Littleton with the packages for review.

I did some of the deals about a year back before the most recent batch of promos and got maybe one call ever - no big deal.

Aren't these loss leader sales just to get your contact information so salesmen can pester you with phone calls and e-mail spam? I wouldn't be surprised if they sell this information to other companies. It just isn't worth it to me just to save a few dollars on an ASE.

Well gee, you guys aren't much fun. I came around looking for some wildcat PM folk ready to take on the world - one ounce at a time. Not some namby pamby I'm-afraid-of-a-telephone-call gents. image

Besides, I thought mrearlygold's thread would pave the way image

I've been doing these for a few years now. At this point, when you take into account multiple purchases $10 below spot per oz, it's not a trivial amount.

Whatcha got AU? Well, sorry but nothing to report. Just get my silver from my neighbors
and never pay spot. No codes or internet. Just old folks selling old stuff. My ad says take
it to the dealer and THEN CALL BOB...you won't be disappointed. (however you need to know
    what the dealer is paying!).
