First of all, have you guys not tried Ebay shipping vs Paypal shipping? I like Ebay shipping much better. You enter everything on one page.
Secondly about the debate between the green DC labels vs Ebay/PP shipping labels -
I have not had ONE single problem using Ebay shipping. It is much cheaper and it saves time. If the green DC label is so important, why not get a green highlighter and highlight the DC part of the label bringing attention to it? I cannot fathom spending that extra money on DC when it is free with Ebay shipping and it is such a time saver.
A-Ebay didnt screw the sellers over so much B-There were less whiny b-----s on ebay complaining about shipping costs C-The USPS didnt raise their prices what seems like every 6 months
In the end, $1.71 to mail a package that cost 64 cents just 3 years ago is absurd. Having to spend money on DC to satisfy paypal requirements are absurd ( I have sent 2000 packages over the past 5 years, most without DC and never had ONE turn up missing).
Getting involved in ebays endless fee discussions, their ridiculous feedback system and buying something that you know the cost on and then complaining about it is the problem. Jack up your shipping rates....if you have a good item, it WILL sell, if you have crap, it wouldnt have sold anyway. Finding lower cost shipping methods, packaging methods, confirmation methods should result in a HIGHER profit rate, not making it a break EVEN rate.
