Search problems

howardshowards Posts: 1,241 ✭✭✭
It's been some time since the search function here worked properly for me.

Firefox returns immediately with:

The page you were accessing requires variables to be passed to it.

Error Code: 100

IE takes a few moments and then returns with:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

------

Is search working for anyone? Couldn't find the proper forum to post this in, so I posted in the forum I frequent. Anybody know what's wrong? I'd search for other posts on this topic, but...

Use the regular search (not advanced) and if you search the word "search" you'll see a bunch of threads about it.
    It's related to your browser.

I can search with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. FireFox 4.0 is the culprit.

Where is "regular search?" The only search I see is the search button two lines below the Collectors Universe logo. And it takes me to what I would consider an advanced search.

IE9 (the new one) doesn't work for me. No longer have IE8 to try it.

Same problem here. Works in IE8 but not Firefox. I actually had to search the internet to find this topic. Computer went dead recently, had to reload OS and Firefox and haven't been able to search past threads.

Perhaps it has something to do with fusetalk 3.0? That website did some upgrading to it's servers but back in 2005? Still searching.........
