Does the Mint owe me for cancelling my Proof Buchs, since the order had been accepted and on backorder for months?

The price went up considerably - from $829/ea. to $904/ea. since I placed the order with them - and since the order was confirmed.

Interesting new scam - this time, by our own US Mint.

Count yourself lucky. This is the first time in history any government has screwed a citizen. And probably the last. Think of the distinction! This is better than a hand-written invitation to Harry'n'Kate's weddding. Rest satisfied with that.

So you still think this series is going to be collected or they are just bullion coins? Me, it's a bullion coin because these will be just too high before they end and gold may have peaked and dropped before it ends taking away any profit in the series for decades. There's just not enough collector interest IMO even though these price adjustments will make some real low mintage's. The 4 piece set was all I wanted as well as any that were selling for around bullion, now this series is dead for me.

We have been told by the experts that these are Mint "contrived rarities" so they could not be just bullion.
