Tangible Investments LLC of Laguna Beach, California Files Suit Against Collectors Universe (CLCT)

SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On September 22, 2010, Tangible Investments, LLC filed in Orange County Superior Court a lawsuit against Collectors Universe (CLCT) for alleged conversion of Tangible Investments’ property.

In the complaint, Tangible Investments alleges that the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), a division of Collectors Universe (CLCT ), refused to return rare coins owned by Tangible Investments without legal justification. The complaint alleges that Collectors Universe’s refusal to return the rare coins without legal justification makes it liable for the tort of conversion.

In addition to seeking the immediate return of its property, Tangible Investments is also seeking an award of general, punitive and exemplary damages, as well as attorneys’ fees.
