Anybody know what the critter is in the other pic?
I was thinking wolverine or fishercat, but didn't know the general area of where the picture was taken. Every once in a while I can hear a fishercat in my neighborhood, their "yelp" is blood curling. Look it up on youtube and you'll know what I mean...
Interesting that 11 years ago (start of thread) we were also complaining of high gas prices. Seems the more things change, the more they remain the same.

I bought a few lottery tickets so I could be your neighbor.
Sadly it didn't pan out this go around.
Looks like a Great place to UnWind.
Alas! Well, there's always the option of working hard, saving diligently, and investing wisely for about 35 years

@bidask I hear you they get crazy in the rut.
I’m a little more watchful of these. Never seen one in person but they are all over on the game cams in Martinville.

@cohodk those spikes will fork out next year.
I've got demon deer.
Demon deer indeed. Every winter those suckers eat the bark off my walnut trees and the trees can't get a leg up!
I knew it would happen.
