With coin in hand I am thinking NT but from the pics I can see where others are coming from when they say AT. I'll send it in for grading one of these days.
I have seen this type of toning on Barber dimes before, both instances the toning resulted from the old ANA slabs. I have one cracked from an ANA slab with similar toning now that I am debating whether to send off for grading or not.

I agree. My guess is this sat in a 2x2 envelope for many years. In many of my old auction catalogs that had color plates this type of toning was pretty common. I grade the coin in the 64 range so why would someone AT it and then sell it for $150?
I have to say that having seen countless Barber Dimes in all stages of toning, your's seems to be NT.
I could post images of my Dansco pages and you'd see coins similar to yours - plus more heavily toned ones as well - after having been in the album for 16 years.
