The color seems a bit odd to me... could just be the imaging. Early copper is very difficult to image and getting the real color has been very difficult for me.
Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;
Looks like a very old Arsenic cleaned copper, that has since been retoning for decades. These come along once in a while, and though would only get a genny holder, the raw copper guys don't care. It has decent eye appeal and though it would or should sell at a discount, it won't be a give away. Some of the purists on here may be amazed at what cleaned early raw large cents garner in the big auctions.
That is XF45 money and I certainly would not pay that amount deductions for obv & rev dings, possible rim bruise, and color certainly does not appear right.

My apologies if it is...
I just happened to come across it and was blown away by the color.
I have very little experience with Half Cents.
It doesn't seem to be hurting the bidding!

That's one of their IDs? I have taken to avoiding them at shows.....not really that trustworthy in person either.....
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
