Hey there Pink!
I also collect 1972-73 Dark Side of the Moon bootlegs. I saw them and Waters 15 times or more? I really can't say. Part of my autograph collection mentioned above is a promo vinyl of The Pros and Cons of Hitchiking signed on the last night of the tour w/Clapton in Canada. Did you see the recent Wall? I did, several times in a few venues - huge let down.
Here are a few other things I have in my collection, but do not actively collect anymore. One day I will give all of this to the little girl pictured below

Yup! The 52 has some paper loss on the reverse from being glued in an album at one point. The 53 has a pin hole. Otherwise both are vibrant with great eye appeal. And they were priced very fairly. Most PSA 1's are quite ugly, these are the exception.

Living in Alaska makes it hard to see the big acts. I didn't see the recent Wall tour. I probably would have if I were closer, even knowing it would be a disappointment.
I generally like most of the albums, but I'm not a huge fan of some of the Barrett stuff or soundtracks. The Final Cut plays more like a Waters solo effort to me, with the others there just to play along. Not to say that's totally a bad thing because Waters is a talented guy. I feel that albums like Dark Side or Meddle show more band synergy.

I collect coins and more coins. Ok, I read enough, gotta post now. The Wall "huge letdown" Don`t know what you were watching? I saw 7 shows in 5 different cities from East Coast to West Coast (yes I flew out to LA JUST to see a 7th show!) I have seen all combinations of Pink Floyd starting from 1984 with David Gilmours solo About Face Tour. Here is his autograph on my Half-Speed Mastered Wall Album from a signing at my local mall promoting that tour.
Anyway, with a production as such by Roger Waters on his recent Wall Tour, I just cannot understand what you might have been expecting and did not see? Yes I understand about not having David playing guitar, BUT it is what it is. For only Roger touring this masterpiece, I commend him on his work. As you can see in my Sig line I am a huge Floyd fan and may be biased in my opinion but the recent Wall Tour was simply amazing! Ok, I`m done now, whew! Oh, I had better post a coin Thank you for letting me share

Hi there
Well, perhaps I am picky, but the kind of stuff that bothered me? Not "see" but what I did not "hear" I think. I am not there for the fireworks anymore. Well, I recall what Pink Floyd used to sound like. There was no audible quad stereo separation but for a few seconds spread here and there. The same with Waters last DSOTM tour - just a few seconds during the delivery of the line "I was just telling him, he couldn't get into number 2. He was asking why he wasn't coming up on freely....etc" - that was it. Of course many people don't even know where that occurs. That line emanated from a specific and impossible spot in space above the floor and to the right of stage center at every venue I saw and it sent chills down my spine as it used to. The prism was neat. But I could say this about most bands today with the exception of Radiohead circa 1996 in Roseland Ballroom and so on, less stereo sound separation. I just saw Elton John about 2 weeks ago, floor seats, center and front in MSG and darned if it wasn't mono Saw it again from the last row in the next to last section just to hear a difference...none - just and echo from the other side of the Garden and the sound was heading to my right instead of hitting me in my face. The rest...eh. You probably won't believe me when I mention several Kilminstar solo's were recorded on 2007 DSOTM - sync up NY shows with those in NJ I can take Waters pre-recorded vocals and have for more years than...., well, I can't take recorded guitar solos. If one is going to use pre-recorded vocals he should have done Pigs (Three Different Ones).....IMHO. Bramhall II was a bit better, even struggling to play his guitar ala SRV and accidentally muting his strings. At least he was providing some variants of the solos and not trying to recreate Gilmour's tone and solos exactly, which is a fools errand... As far as this Wall - large to small complaints apart from sound. He changed the meaning of too much. This resulted in some weird things - such as the audio no longer correlating to the video on his now-widescreen TV during Nobody Home from the "Tropicana" set. Nobody Home and Don't Leave Me Now seemed out of place particularly. Mind you, I think Amused to Death is the clearly best material any of the four had put out collectively or individually. Pros and Cons was also wonderful for its time line of dreams and concepts. Gilmour's recent work is incredible, masterful of course, but from 1987 on it had no real context without Waters. Marooned is luscious, rich and textured, but lacking something. AMLOR was not a Floyd album anymore than DB was IMHO It is easy to find a Floyd...uh..pulse in Amused to Death. They need each other, but Waters can do nearly as well with Jeff Beck. What on either Gilmour "Floyd" albums comes remotely close to Perfect Sense Pt I & II or It's a Miracle?
Best to you all, Eric
Edited to add: OK - THAT is a LOT of Pez. And, that's a nice Gilmour signature. Often not so clear even then. And re the above - would it not have been better for Snowy to solo on Have a Cigar as he did in 1977 instead of having Kilminstar "play" the solo in 2007? I mean, he was standing right there....

I just saw Elton John about 2 weeks ago, floor seats, center and front in MSG and darned if it wasn't mono
AMLOR was not a Floyd album anymore than DB was IMHO
Best to you all,
Eric
Edited to add: OK - THAT is a LOT of Pez.
And, that's a nice Gilmour signature. Often not so clear even then.
And re the above - would it not have been better for Snowy to solo on Have a Cigar as he did in 1977 instead of having Kilminstar "play" the solo in 2007? I mean, he was standing right there....
