So you're directly opposed to the concept of the SecurePlus Sniffer?

    Indeed!

I had some slabs I bought off EBay once that reeked of cigarettes. Sprayed em with Febreze every day for 2 weeks and let em air dry and I finally got them to where they didn't smell so bad.

All the best old toning is brown from tobacco tars.

Some never smell, some never sell...I'm confused what to do...in retaliation I will sell some coins, and smell others! image

I guess Bear will not be applying for the PCGS Sniffer job....image Seriously though, with all the 'organics' on circulated coinage, the surface is literally in a constant state of 'matter decay'.... Cheers, RickO

Smells like money to me; tastes like 63 to me. Can you taste the difference between a ms64 and a ms64.4?

I'm pretty sure that Silver is a strong antibacterial. Heck, it's even in my washing machine.

  • After the thread I read on here several days ago about someone talking about pulling a coin out of a portable I don't blame you.
