Does size matter when selling.

Considering the price point of Silver now and into the near future, would it be wise for one to purchase larger 1 Kilo to 100 oz bars to save on premiums.
The intentions are to sell one day, at a higher price preferably image

I have local dealers and board members to sell to at spot, would the larger bars be difficult to move as prices increase?

Or should one pony up the premium and buy 1 oz increments?

Thank you in advance.

And if one were to go with 100 oz bars, which preferred J&M or Englehard?

1 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz bars or rounds, do carry a higher premium than the 100 oz items, but the premium will be recouped when it's time to sell. It's easier to sell the smaller bars or rounds.

you will be able to liquidate (and probably realize more) with smaller bars and rounds. You will get a much wider range of potential purchasers with 1000- 1oz. rounds at $52/each rather than 10- 100oz. bars for $5000 when spot hits $50.

So the next natural question, so far i've been buying up ASE's or other government issued 1 oz rounds, the premium is off the charts now.
Should I go with private label rounds for less premium and if so which are the best options? Buffalo, APMEX, Sunshine Mint or the old Engelhard prospectors?

premiums now are nutz because of demand to buy. you haven't mentioned 90%

there have been numerous comments pertaining to the value of 90% vs ASE

is there a reason you shy away from 90% as an alternative?

    .

Once you have a "comfortable" amount of small items,
it is prudent to avoid the premium and buy large items.

Contemplating/speculating that upfront premiums will be
"recovered" on the backend merely adds additional and
    unnecessary risk to the investment.
