With the original packaging and with an ANACS photo certificate for my ANACS photo certificate collection. I think I did pretty well on the price.

As soon as someone else on this planet starts collecting ANACS photo certificates, these price are going to go up!
There is no "AT" or "NT". We only have "market acceptable" or "not market acceptable.

Nice CC..... something about them catches my interest, and, it seems, a lot of other people. Cheers, RickO
  • Cool item, I just want to know why the case does not say "uncirculated" on it?
    not an expert,just well informed.

Most of the GSA $ with toning or stains were sold at a discount, without describing them
as Uncirculated. Some of the really neat toners ended up being sold this way.

I think they are two different coins. The marks don't match up but it may just
be the angles of the pics. Note the mark by the eagles head and on Miss Libs
    lower chin.
Of course, I'm probably just jealous! Nice pick! Sure glad I don't collect these
    certs!!

The sticker with the cert number is the sticker that ANACS put on the case. I'm pretty confident it's the same coin.

I like the way you have specialized (carved out your own niche) in ANACS photo certified coins. Over the years, you have found a few that are PQ. image

I've always wanted one of these also, just for the historic value. My #1 dealer called me the other day saying he had just bought a large collection and they were mostly these old ANAC's photo grading. I can't take or post pictures, but I ended up with: 1914D $20 Gold, 1901 $10 Gold, 1910 $10 Gold, 1899 $5 Gold, 1878S $ 2 1/2 Gold, 1832 CBH (lovely tone XF45), and a 1946 Walker in (AU55).
The Gold pieces were all graded at AU55, but would grade higher in todays market. This opportunity pushed me to complete the gold section of my Dansco 7070.

    Yeah, I'm a happy camper!

A bunch of really nice coins ended up in the "not uncirculated" cases. The jokers they hired at minimum wage were judging the quality of the coins! For some reason, DMPL coins looked like rejects to them!

    Look here

And a MS-66 was "not uncirculated"

    Right here

And this not uncirculated clunker sold for $11500.00!!

So how much extra do you figure you paid for the ANACS photo certificate? 'Cause I got a bunch of 'em without the coins that I'd love to sell. image
