silver spot

What is the feeling of the board? Do you all feel that the current market for silver still has some legs going forward. I have some eagles to sell and would like to get 40 dollars a pop. Anytime soon? Thanks

i would never have believed it could get to where it's at so now i expect it to keep going, slowly, till it settles somewhere. with summer around the corner things could get interesting.

  • I am going to start cashing out tomorrow. Wait until it drops 12-15 per oz, and buy again. I weathered the storm from last week. Today was short covering. I hope it continues over the next few days as I unload.

    Cheers!

You should be able to sell the ASEs for $40 each now.

What does a roll of 1951 Franklins go for?
    Is there a premium?
They are all BU, I had one graded and it came back MS64

This is question for the precious metals forum

I'm still in the headed higher camp just because of the continued world demand being thrown about. Although I would like to see some reliable supply and demand figures before I call it any more than a guess.

It will continue upwards... no way to predict the peak....$50 is possible, but will take a while. Cheers, RickO
  • With all of the fiat currency floating around, I think we have just seen the beginning of the rise in PMs versus the dollar. I hope I am wrong.

image Oh how many times have we heard that one. Silver will no doubt correct but don't expect it to drop that much and when it does don't expect to be able to buy it anywhere near paper prices the premiums always are steep on those falls.
If you must sell 1/3 and wait for the drop, don't sell the farm, this market just starting to roll.
  • Silver seems unstopable, I think $40 is not to far away. image

When the government begins to live within their income and stop all this deficit spending, I'll start selling off my PM's.

40 plus by the end of the summer is my opinion. I don't think 50 an ounce by the end of the year is out of the question, either.

Sell 1/3 of what you would like to sell, then hope that your first sale was your worst sale.

I agree. Inflation adjusted, silver is nowhere near it's record high - and the government's inflation statistics are bogus anyway. (This is not a recommendation to buy or sell)

  • I will not part with any of mine, and not a lot of it either until it hits $75, which it will do.
