I haven't been searching nickel rolls as diligently as I should be right now. With seven holes to fill in the Jefferson Nickel circulation collection, new finds are getting harder and harder. But once in a great while...

A very nice 1935-S Buffalo Nickel. At first I thought it was a D-mint as the mintmark is just a pile of mush. This is just the third buffalo nickel I have plucked from circulation/roll searching and definitely fills a hole. Made me very happy! image

    Buffs are really uncommon circulation finds now... still find the occasional war nickel. When I was a kid with a paper route, would still get V nickels in change... Cheers, RickO
