makes me wish I would've paid attention in Photography class in H.S.

I really wish i knew how to take better pics as this doesn't begin to fully show the amazing natural toning on this 1 oz. silver round. The whole upper rim is actually purple and the oranges are much more brilliant. I'll try later to do a better job and re-post.

That toning is not unusual in rounds or bars that have not been removed from their original plastic. Most of the older issuer's plastic was made of PVC & the next step in the toning process is a dark purple to almost a black tarnish. I make it a habit whenever I find a round or bar in that condition, to give it a good bath to restore it's original beauty.

  • I know I would give that round a bath thats fo sure!

Kind of nice to know that you were doing your math homework in photography
class. WTF, photography class? That's the problem with tomorrows dealers,
they took photography class in HS. I hope you tell me it was a club that met
    after school, right?
What else do they "teach" in HS nowadays?

  • Gee, you don't want to go into a high school these days then. At my school (in Australia), students are doing 2x Art, Food tech (cooking), multimedia and Child studies in year 12 (final year of high school). And some of my best maths students are choosing applied maths because the university course they want to do doesn't insist on real maths and they can get a better result and therefore better ranking from doing the easy subjects. A constant battle teachers face these days. On the plus, in 10 years time there won't be anybody trained in Maths, physics and chemistry and I will be a highly desired employee image
Still thinking of what to put in my signature...

I only took the class because there were mostly just females in it...hence why I didn't pay too much attention to what the teacher was saying. I have some awesome memories in my H.S. darkroom image Print shop was a blast too because the teacher was only in his late 20's and kind of let us do our own thing. btw, there was a darkroom in print shop too.

Yep...I got me a high quality edumacation there folks back in da day.
Actually (honestly not bragging) I graduated with Honors, was in the Honor Society, was in top 3% of my graduating class of 404 students with a 3.9 GPA, only needed like 2 credits to graduate entering my Senior year therefore only went a half day and graduated in January instead of June. I could go on but it would seem like i'm braggin'. image

It's all true, or so i've been told not remembering alot of H.S. being that I've had a few consussions from playing sports. (I know some of you are saying..."now that explains alot" LOL).
And LOOK AT ME NOW! Postin' on a coin chat board too much LMAO!!!
