Looks like the real color to me. Awesome! 66RD?

Now...if only the slab scratches had been polished out.

ambro...don't take this the wrong way, but after seeing so many of your coins, and lately, images of your Feuchtwanger pilgramage....after seeing this coin, I officially hate you....image
    I'll come up with something.

  • That's a fantactic looking SVDB. Would I be out-of-line asking it's value?

Don't know about realized $$, as something like this, well, I never look at, I CAN'T....I could only HOPE to afford a coin like this....BUT, the CU guide has a 66RD at $16,000, 66RD+ at $22,000, a 67RD is 'only' a 6 number coin...and Ambro's purchases are never 'just average' for the grade (hinting that a +, at least, is in that coins future, I think, but I'm not 'NotSure' for no reason...lol....but I think I'm right here, especially where it's an Ambro coin).

    edited for MORE spelling errors...lol
    I'll come up with something.
  • Thanks! I figured it was more than 10K I've always thought of the 1909 SVDB as the "KING" of coins since I was a kid.
  • Is it a 65+ or 66?
    Very nice and expensive coin.
