Who are reputable mints?

I am new to PM and so please excuse this if it sounds stupid but I have read alot of guidelines about buying 1 and 10 oz silver bars. They always say buy from a reputable mint but who are reputable mints? I see Sunshine, Apmex, NTR, Republic, Silvetowne and others. How do I suppose to know who is a reputable mint?

More or less they are all reputable mints.
You may want to know who are the top tier ones.
To name a few: Pamp, JM, Engelhard, Credit Suisse, Degussa, Argor SA, Scottsdale, SilverTowne, etc...(with "etc", I mean you can forget the others image - unless I missed any image )

I would add: Heraeus, Valcambi & RCM to that list.

    OPM---Ohio Precious Metals
    JPM---Jackson Precious Metals
    CCM---California Crown Mint
    GA---Golden Analytical
    Credit Suiss

I'm sure there are many more legitimate and reputable producers of silver rounds and bars that we can add to the list.
