I like coins that are original but not necessarily "dirty."

    Agree but I wouldn't use goo-gone. Acetone would be a better choice.

    It's dirt, filth, accumulated body oils and sweat, and other nasty stuff.

    It depends.

    I like original, dirty No Motto gold coins.

    I do not like dirty, Lincoln Memorial pennies and clad quarters
