I was looking for something "on demand" earlier today to watch with Broadstruck Jr.

Well I was hooked from the get go and we both had lots of laughs throughout.

Don't have a child to view this with... Just invite Saintguru over! imageimage

I selected Getting Even With Dad and here's the beginning clip link courtesy of youtube.

LOL! At 9:59 we get a glimpse of a hobby periodical, Numismatist Weekly, and there's a glaring typo in the headline:

    COIN HORDE FOUND IN TRUNK

That, of course, should be HOARD.

Us coin freaks look at the details such as the price list in the beginning.

    1923 Silver Dollar Peace MS64 $2,100 Wear ?
    1881-S Silver Dollar Morgan MS65 $25,000 Frosty ?

    Oh well.

I can see why it drew your attention given the subject matter! Hell, I'd watch it!

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

I faintly recall seeing that movie in a theater in 8th grade while on a "date" with a girl. I don't remember the coins nor the plot in detail, but I do recall the movie being quite awful.

I don't recall anything about this movie but I will say that I do not remember even the faintest detail about any movie I saw on a date before I was 25. --Jerry

FWIW, you can watch the whole movie on YouTube. That clip linked is 1 of 11, just watch the other 10, and there you go.

WillieBoyd2, The 2009 released horror flick titled "Drag Me To Hell" has a 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter mentioned a few times throughout the movie.
