I agree! Same faces on this thread and I too am still collecting them and getting interested into some of the later classified DDRs but still have to say that with all the 100 or so discovered, WDDR-009 the Skeleton Finger is the winner in my book. Still the most unique after all this time

<< <i>That is good news. That means PCGS will follow suit and recognize them. I have over 100 of the prime date roll sets. I must have 6 or 7 hundred of the varieties in the rolls. I also have a bunch of PCGS graded MS66's/ >>
I wouldn't bother, there are just too many. CherryPicker or not; unless you know it's a MS68 or MS69 save your money. >>
They are still in the mint rolls. When I see $30 or more a coin, which will happen someday, then open up and bulk submit. They are paid for with some early profit, so I will just sit for now.

$30 a coin won;t cut it since it'll cost at least $34 to get the graded ($10 bulk) and attributed ($24).
Wow! 6 or 7 hundred of the varieties has gotta say something.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
Have about 20 boxes of the prime dates unopened from the U.S. Mint. About 50 pulled so far of the 001 and 002. Even have a roll with both ends of the 001 double thumb showing. Will Bulk submitting give you a break on variety attribution fee?

It has nothing to do with the number of varieties. It's all about quantity; there are just too many people with too many.

My advise, is to select the absolute best of each variety that you have and get them attributed and graded for your personal collection.
If you want, select the second best coins and get them attributed and graded then put them up for sale the second your grades post! Open bidding or Buy It Now.
There WILL be a market for PCGS Attributed CPG 2009 DDR's but I think it'll open up quickly and close just as quickly.
It's been my experience that only the highest grades will garner any worthwhile premiums in the aftermarket and some of those might be tough to sell come a month or so after the CPG gets released that contains these coins. I still have difficulty selling MS65 Washington Type B's for enough to cover original coin purchase price plus the $38 grading fee's.
By all means, get your personal coins graded but if anybody is expecting a windfall just because these are in the CPG, be very very careful on how much you actually commit to grading fee's or you could find yourself in a very deep hole very quickly.

I'm actually not too concerned about getting these graded. I think many average collectors will simply want the major ones to complete their sets. Attribution by the TPGs will simply put them on the map.

<< <i>Anacs grading is fine with me and I can not imagine getting these graded at PCGS prices. >>
I have boxes of these graded with probably only 10-67's and 1-68.....that cost some cash but it is a pittance compared to what regrading 1/4 of those would cost.....

I do not plan on getting any more graded at this time.
I have 30 MS 67's graded right now and am happy with that.
Anacs grading is fine with me and I can not imagine getting these graded at PCGS prices.

I also have 2 proof 69's graded . I see one of these on ebay right now (PR67) at $3500. I know there are not many of these but I think that
person is having a big dream if he thinks he will get that much for a 67.
Long time to wait
I really don't see any point in hanging on to, unopened, "prime date" sets. I've broken down and sorted a lot of mine.
And there are A LOT of these varieties to go 'round.
But hey, if i can sell 1c for $1, then I'm a winner.
I don't plan to slab any, unless they're flawless
