With silver at just under $34 an ounce the 2010 silver quarter set is less than $3 over melt.
The US mint website says the 2010 silver quarter sets are:
<< <i>This product is temporarily unavailable. >>
.
I wonder if the sell out temporary or if they are really sold out?

45.28 Silver
5.06 Clad face value
_______
50.34 and the set only costs $56.95
There going to be easy flips if silver holds up!
The Silver half and dime are low, low mintage.
<< <i>Yep..I bought 15 of the 2010 silver proof set today.

Yes I think the 2009 is the lowest mintage Silver proof set
since the state Quarter program started, a little over 600K
if I remember right. The 2010 could come in under that.
I think people have been buying like crazy,
I'd think they'd have gone on BO instead of "temp. unavailable" ???
When silver hits $36.44 they'll be worth melt at the list price.
Right now, you're looking at melt of $31.22 and a list of $32.95
If they were really sold out or B/Od, I'd think they'd say that. To me, this has something more to do with the fact that these were selling pretty close to spot.
reasons unknown.
so the rumor mill can guess, but it'll take insider info to know what is really up.
<< <i>they are gonna jack up the price of course >>
Since they are last year's sets don't you think they might have just finally sold out of them?
...and, as far as I know, they have never "jacked up" the price of a yearly set...just gold/platinum issues...besides they probably got the planchets early 2010 when silver was a t $15/ounce so they are stlll making money on them

when the DC & Territories quarters were up near melt they sold out of them and the mint sales counters had to send theirs out to Indy to fulfill online ordrers.
The only word I have with these is that they were removed from sale.
<< <i>With silver at these prices the full size 14 coin 2010 silver proof set (SV3)is starting to look extremely DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! >>
As of today, these sets are worth ~$47.50 in silver and then $5.06 face (dollars, nickel, and cent). Not to mention the face is in proof condition.
<< <i>someone pointed this out Monday(?)
