Why would someone do this?

Think this would cross over to a 9 at least?

    Bottom left corner looks wrecked as well as a tilt, the entire right side has the signature opc cut...

    My thoughts are why would it be in this holder? There's gotta be a reason, but you never know. How does the back look?

    there's no back picture. Guess I could request for one and see what he says.
    My concern is, is the card itself straight in the holder or is it kinda tilted to the right
    a bit which gives it that missing edge look on the left.

    Blah! I just checked this guy's other items. He's got over 800+ items
    and they're all either PSA, SGC, BGS, or BCCG graded.

    Guess he's trying to get an extra $75 or so (PSA 8 difference) if someone bites.

    I'll pass.
