I voted for one day. It could very easily stay for more than a day, but the other option was one week, and that would seem difficult for silver to stay above $32.50 for the entire week.
Agree. Considering the recent meteoric rise in the price of silver, we are overdue for profit taking and a major correction.

When will silver ever be able to overcome the $20/oz hurdle? Give me a break, it'll never get past $20 again; it's probably headed back to the single digits.
....oh, that was 6 months ago. Sorry.

Unfortunately, my station and none in the neighborhood, will accept silver coins in lieu of cc or cash. I need to sell my silver first, await payment, have the cash transferred to my checking account, use the ATM for a cash withdrawal....what a PITA. Need to buy me an all electric car for 50% more than what a similar gas powered car would cost.
BTW I voted for 1 day....Warning, as of late, I've been batting 100% in my predictions...wrong....

I believe the better question is "How long will silver be able to be purchased under $32.50?"
RR, I believe there will be NO smackdown around options expiration. Just returned from the Phoenix Resource conference and I suspect we will be startled over the coming days........
Silver eagles were going for $36 and up. Generic 10 ozers at $340, JM/Engelhard at $345 Generic 1 ozers for $34 and up. "Show Special" at one table: 1 oz Engelhards for $33 each. They didn't last long

Or to rephrase - how long will the dollar stay below 1/32.50 ounces of silver?
