    I'm sure they don't, but I've had orders where the guy must have stepped out and argued with his Girlfriend on his Cellphone in the middle and then came back and stomped on the rest of the order!!!! image

    Are we all sure about that? I've heard from others that the reason subs with lots of different years/issues take longer is that different graders handle things like modern vs vintage, etc. Is that just an urban myth and, if so, what DOES explain the slower pop time for subs with lots of different stuff??

    BTW - great pops on the oldies!!!

    Yes, it takes alot longer because there are modern and vintage graders, so if you send something in with several vintage cards, it goes to a vintage grader, no matter if there are modern cards in it or not. They are more backed up, because, well, vintage cards are more important and actually take longer to grade.

    and the same grader has the lot ? Wow, proof not to ever submit a variety submission.

    bet they do change graders there dresef. at least I friggin hope a 2010 topps, compared to an 1859 Strasberg third year card has different eyes on it. or there are definitive variences in grading. To me, a 10 is a 10. old or not.

    Msassins lot is bad*sss old school stuff. Congrats man on that stuff !

    As I said before, if there is a mixed batch of modern and vintage on a submission, they absolutely do NOT stop the grading in the middle of the submission and send it to a different grader.

    And, yes, there are different tolerances for an vintage card grading high versus a modern card.

    All of my Sporting Lifes are in those annoying 2 in x 3 in (Delong size) holders so they are tilted in the holder. image

    It must be nice to get quick turnaround. Today marks the end of week 5 on the April Special for me. That doesn't count 1 week from the date the package arrive until the date it was processed.
