nice little surprise in my change today !

i was at the department store buying a few things, and just happened to look at my change as i was leaving, i have found silver dimes and quarters, war nickels, wheat cents, but this is a first. not a financial windfall, but it definately was an unexpected find !

regardless of how many posts I have, I don't consider myself an "expert" at anything

<< <i>It's obviously a 69-S DDO!
An "unstruck" 69-S DDO ?
The name is LEE!
Weak strike?
......I collect old stuff......
oddly enough some of the cashiers I have spoken to try to get rid of coins that arent the usual cent, dime, nickel or quarter because they say the head cashier will make them replace any weird coinage with their own money.
been hoping to find one of those one day.
A potential 1959D Wheat Ear "Fantasy" coin!!

<< <i>cant be RYK, its a zinc >>
A zinc 69-S? Even rarer!
<< <i>i only posted the one side because the other side looks about the same. >>
Can't offer up a grade, then, sorry. I have enough trouble grading these when I see both sides!
