Gift cards into PMs?

Hey everyone,

I received a couple different Visa gift cards for Christmas. Does anyone know if I can transfer that balance into my Paypal account. Or any ideas on buying silver with them somewhere online? It is only $100.00 worth but figured I could buy 4 or 5 oz of silver.

    I think you could go the local B&M route as most all take credit cards BUT will charge an extra fee. However since you got them for free its not like it cost you anything. Give that a try if there are no other options.

    You can also use the gift cards with PayPal and buy something on eBay.

    Local B&M does not take credit cards.

    Weather11am - How would I go about using them with paypal and buying something from ebay?

    Buy your groceries with the Visa cards and use the grocery money for the PM's. image

    Just add them to your PayPal account using add credit card. My brother asked me about that sometime last year and it worked for him

    They'll spend just like a CC. Add it to paypal or like stated above, use them for a normal cash purpose and then use that cash for PM at the store.
