I have upped the ante to $100 for a 1943 P,D or S Steel Lincoln Cent in PCGS AU 58 or 58+.At this price it must look like an UNC. with no rust. One member of the BST board sent a 1943 S in and it came back a 53.It is not that easy to get a 58.Anyone want to try?
I am upping the ante for a 1943 Steel Lincoln Cent in PCGS AU 58 or 58+ to $125. Either a P,D or S will be fine. At this price it must look like an UNC. with NO rust. I do not need any other grade. Anyone????
I do hope that you find one, but given the fact that there are less than 30 (I just looked it up) for P, D, and S, combined, you may need to create one even though you would rather would not take the chance.

Wish I had one for you, But this thread is fun to read and follow. Hope you remeber to post when you get one. Now I will be looking for one also. And even if you do find one before I do, I will like to have it just to remind me of this story. Thanks Bob
I am not enjoying the hunt.I want the &*#$% coin for my registry set. I am starting to think of sending some in myself but I am afraid it will cost me several hundred dollars to get ever get a 58.
Yes,I am still looking. As per my earlier posts I will pay $125 for a 1943 P,D or S Lincoln Steel Cent in PCGS AU 58 or 58+.At this price it must have no rust.
