Check this out. What do yall see? I think I see a Frogs Face?? This rock was found in bend texas, A small ranch. We have found tons of arrow heads over the years and found this rock which looks like a face of some kind carven in a sand stone rock. Its neat I think.
What do yall see? Does it look like 2 eys and a mouth?
thought this might be a good place to ask this question and I know its random. Id like to hear yalls thoughts.

At first what i see is a sort of cinnamon roll effect that doesnt look natural , the more i looked i guess i do see a face of sorts , it doesnt look naturally formed but i know all to well it could very well be.I'd bet aginst it though in that instance.

The point is superb : )

Maybe it is because I haven't had much coffee yet but it looks a lot like a coiled rattlesnake to me. Especially the first pic.

I'll go against the consensus and say that I think what you have are natural erosional features on the stone. I don't see any tool marks in your photos. Sandstone can do some strange things when in contact with wind and water. Those orange and red colors appear to be iron deposits, which are common in many sandstone outcrops.

I may not be a geologist, but I did minor in it in undergraduate school, and I stayed in a holiday inn last night. :-)
