This is too bizarre even for my bizarre coin collection.
And just a little background on my perspective on 9/11. I worked overseas for the US government and spent several months of discomfort, having travel restricted, working hours increased, heightened security making it almost impossible to get on the base. Coming to work hours early to make it to work on time, etc. Since 9/11 I've been to Iraq 6 times and Afghanistan 3 times.
It's just a stupid coin. The sales pitch is what makes it leave a bad taste.

Never view my other linked pages. They aren't coin related.
I would never have one these things in my collection, but that's no reason to waste the government's, the court's and the Federal Trade Commission's time and our money chasing after this no-class mint operation. Once more Chucky Schumer and New York Senator Ms. No-name are grandstanding to show what great Americans they are while they waste our money on a non-issue.
It's interesting that Elliot Spitzer, who did his part for the economy to subsidizing the hooker trade, has had a hand in it too. In Spitzer’s case his hooker friend and the National Collector’s Mint share some something common. They are both out to “rotate” their customers if you follow my drift. The trouble is the first activity is illegal while the second one isn't so long as the company does not tout the "coin's" great potential as an investment.

This is something new. Appears to be a Liberian "coin," though you couldn't tell it from the picture.

Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Thanks Bill.

Heh! They've already got plenty of porno shops around Ground Zero, maybe Freedberg even has a piece of that action.

Too bad the blast wasn't fatal.
