I doubt that is in a 58 holder, and would be surprised if our host graded it 58 as well. I see no wear or "rub" and wonderful luster. A little cabinet friction on the cheek, but this is not uncommon IMO on lowwer to lowwer-mid grade UNC's.
Nice strike for the issue as well.
I like it, a LOT! Very nice coin Lt!!
I'd be thinking a nice 63 based on the pictures

Hey, you guys are tough!!! I don't know where you guys are seeing rub, I can assure you that the coin has none. It is sitting in a NGC MS64 holder. I bought it because it has full luster and very creamy original thick skin. I don't see them like this very often at all and figured it would be perfect for my type coin.

I just read this post, and my gut reaction was 64, before I scrolled down to see the actual grade. It looks like a really nice piece.
Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions
<< <i>Nice coin.....need to get it in the right holder. >>
He doesn't "need" to do anything with it - it's his, to do with, as he pleases. And there is no "right" or "wrong" holder. Many of us are perfectly fine with our COINS, that happen to reside in (or out of) various holders.
Edited to add: I would have guessed MS63, shot 64.
I love it. It's among the few O mint Barber Quarters I've never owned but certainly one that deserves attention. 64 doesn't surprise me. The look is great!
We're all born MS70. I'm about a Fine 15 right now.

Everything about the coin is gem except for some minor facial hits or hairlines. Luster and fields are definitely gem. All comes down to the number of lines on the cheek/face some of which may not be visible in the photo.
Solid 64 or even a 64+. The overall look of this coin could have made it an NGC 65 a couple of years ago.
