    New Hope Gold and Silver was in business in New Hope, PA in the late 1970's. During the silver runup when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the market this refinery was caught in a scam. They sold gold and silver and offered to store the metal securely for their customers. Got a lot of business during the silver run but it turned out they allegedly just pocketed the money. I bought a single 10 oz bar, but had them ship it and I still have it. They went out of business shortly thereafter.
