Did you ask him if he would need 1 or 2 dollies to wheel all his metal into the shop to sell to you then?

Considering silver prices have not gone up 10X in the past 12 months as they did from 1979 to Jan 1980, I don't think we have to fear the reaper on Friday other than for the routine bankster morning shakedown.

Coin shops are as bad as Barber shops sometimes. Guys just dont know when to keep their rambling mouth quiet and dont know when to leave. I get a kick out of it though because it seems everyone has a story to tell.
I knew it would happen.

"...If you follow the manipulation theories, it is just prior to expiration time, either in futures or options, that paper shorts increase their net short positions in order to manipulate precious metals downward. This allows the manipulators to profit as the contracts they sold to unwitting investors expire worthless. The sudden drop in price also provides an opportunity for the shorts to cover their positions, profiting via paying back their creditors with lower priced gold..."

No he didn't not buy or sell a thing. I get a lot of hot air blowers that come in from time to time. And sometimes the shop can turn quickly into a political social gathering if several folks are in there with different views. It used to bother me and still does a little , but honestly after being robbed back in Aug when i was in the store alone, I figure the more folks in the store , the less chance of it re-occurring especially with two or more of us fully armed.
I did add a seperate small appraisal room to the store so that if there is a gathering, I can shut the door and give the customer a more private area and secire feeling.
