Link to eBay. 1916 SLQ PCGS PO1 sells for $1632 last night on eBay.
I sold an FR02 a couple months ago for about $1250. I think this one sold for nearly AG03 money.

<< <i>I was watching that one too. I think the coin that sold should have graded at FR02, but that was still very high! I just sold my ANACS FR02 last week for $1280, and am only left with a raw PO-1. I may be sending my last one to PCGS instead now...lol. >>
Definately looks way better than a PO-1

this is one of my fav stories of 2010, did you search SLQ only bags or were the junk bags mixed?

Shrewd marketers can induce coin collectors to do the strangest things.
RMR: 'Wer, wenn ich schriee, hörte mich denn aus der Engel Ordnungen?'
CJ: 'No one!' [Ain't no angels in the coin biz]

I totally agree with that sentiment. It seems under graded to my eyes. I cannot
imagine a true low ball collector would be very proud to have that under graded
coin in their low ball registry set. It would be label collecting to me instead of
wanting a low grade coin graded P01.
I like to think low ball material, different series though, should look more like this:
