New proof for my 7070 type set - 1883 No Cents Nickel

This proof 1883 No Cents Proof nickel was in an old PCI slab. I just broke it out and added it to my 7070 Type set.

What do you think it would grade?

Does it have some sort of issue with crud growing on the neck and near stars one and two?

Hey TomB - no crud just a bad scan.

Although I think a bath in acetone might be in order.

I will reveal the PCI grade when/if I can get a few more grading opinions.

Really hard to grade from that scan as a scan can really give a coin that washed out over dipped look. And as with most proofs a few hair lines can drastically change the grade. I would say PF60 or better.

I am not big on the whole suspense thing so here ya go -

The grade PCI gave was PF63. I think I did ok paying 60 money for her.
