UPGRADE from ATS! Trade Dollar!

Since my last batch of crossovers to PCGS did not go too well, I figured I would try my luck with NGC. I sent five coins, and the results weren't much better. Two of the Five crossed. The biggest score was this this Trade dollar that was in an old white ANACS AU50 holder, and is coming back to me in an NGC AU55! image

Here are some bad pics of the coin. It has a good amount of luster. Will reshoot it when she arrives. The other coin was a 1892 Barber quarter that was also in an old white ANACS MS62 holder ,and it crossed at the same grade. One did cross because of artificial toning, and the other two did not meet my minimum grade.

Nice to see your TD crossed at NGC.

I tried crossing my AU58 TD to PCGS & they called it questionable toning.

    They're tough these days.
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

  • looks like a 50 to me but the picture must hide a lot of luster
